Some of the best wineries in the world are found in Australia, and Preston Peak is one of them. The region is well known for its fine wines and there are a number of them in the state. But if you want to get the real deal, you will need to visit Preston in person. Preston Peak Wines is a family-owned boutique winery located just 13km south of Toowoomba, QLD. The winery is located at 430 Preston Boundary Rd, Preston QLD 4352.

Prestigious award-winning wines
Established in 1995 Preston Peak Wines quickly established a solid reputation for producing quality wines. In 1997 the first barrel ferment Chardonnay received 1st place the Royal Melbourne Wine Show. Since then, Preston Peak Wines have received hundreds of prestigious wine awards.
Sample the best wines
The Cellar Door at Preston Peak Wines is a great place to sample their award-winning wines. The Cellar Door offer wine tasting accompanied with cheese platters and when you find the perfect wine you can purchase a bottle right from the Cellar Door and while you’re at it why not purchase a bottle for a friend or family member. If you’re feeling adventurous and wanting a more intimate experience of the glorious vineyard you can go on a tour of the estate and the vineyard and get the inside scoop about the history of the vineyard and the intricate wine growing and making process. The cellar doors are open Wednesday to Sunday 11am to 3pm.
Enjoy fine foods
The onsite restaurant offers local dishes and cheeses, as well as local and imported food. The memorising mountain views make it a wonderful location to sit back, relax and enjoy the finer things in life.
A superb event venue
If you absolutely fall in love with the place then you can even hire out the Preston Peak Winery Function Centre which is also located at 430 Preston Boundary Rd, Preston QLD 4352. The Function Centre regularly hosts events such as weddings, corporate events and functions, wine dinners, jazz and blues and all kinds of seasonal celebrations.
Luxury accommodation
In fact, they even have luxury accommodation options which are particularly popular among wedding guests. They have two luxury homes, Panoramic Haven and Elliot Close, which can accommodate up to 18 of their guests.
Preston Peak Wines so close to Toowoomba
For those who love wine, Preston Peak Wines is the perfect destination. Located 860m above sea level, the boutique family-run vineyard is only 10 minutes’ drive from Toowoomba. Among its 26 varieties are Shiraz, Cabernet, Viognier, Sagrantino, and many more. The winery has an extensive Cellar Door where you can taste and purchase their wines. The tasting room also offers cheese platters and snacks to accompany your wine. For those who fall in love with the winery and want to host an event at the winery they have a beautiful function centre and luxury accommodation options too.
